W wielu gałęziach gospodarki jest wymagane stosowanie technologii cięcia metali z użyciem urządzeń przenośnych (mobilnych). Należą do nich szczególnie: instalacje ogrzewania i klimatyzacji, rolnictwo, budownictwo, warsztaty naprawy samochodów oraz przemysł stoczniowy. To tylko kilka przykładów, gdzie jest wymagana elastyczność i łatwy transport urządzeń umożliwiających zastosowanie technologii cięcia metali w szerokim zakresie. Użytkownicy pracujący w tych obszarach muszą ciąć metal w warunkach terenowych, w dużej fabryce lub w trudno dostępnych miejscach.

The plasm technology used for flame ignition and stabilization in the boilers with powder heating chamber is the most modern technology that features low acquisition and operating costs. It removes the dependency of energy plant on the supply of premium fuels and it markedly increases operation ecology by reducing pollutant emissions. It cuts down a stub and fuel consumption as well. It significantly broadens a control range of boilers. It can be used for all kinds of boiler coal and for all sorts of preparations and transport of dust coal to burners. The application of plasm technology does not require any interference into boiler construction, just modification of burners by shouldering plasmatrons. This technology is being very easily automated so that its introduction does not require more staff. The power consumption for plasmatrons operation represents at most 3% of the amount of heat energy released in a burner under the influence of low-temperature plasm.
