Podano wynikające z analizy zbiorów ogólne przyczyny katastrof i awarii wskutek błędów w projektowaniu, użytkowaniu i wykonawstwie obiektów budowlanych.

The report describes the sets of technical information on: construction accidents collected by The General Office of Building Control (an obligatory task), structural failures maintained by The Building Research Institute. Additionally, the report contains brief information on the number of items in the mentioned sets and typical causes of construction failures as well as conclusions related to collecting such data in the future.

Przedstawiono wyniki badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych w 180-ciu gospodarstwach położonych na terenie Małopolski. Ankieta zawierała pytania na temat pozyskiwania informacji technicznej przez rolników. Zebrane dane pozwoliły na uzyskanie odpowiedzi na pytania jakimi kanałami informacja dociera do rolnika i jaka informacja jest najbardziej poszukiwana.

The results of survey research performed on 180 farms situated in the Malopolska region were presented. The survey included questions on the subject of gaining technical information by farmers. The data gathered allowed to attain answers to the questions of what channels were used to reach the farmer and what information was most sought-for.

The article presents the specificity and the content of patent literature. It describes the structure of the patent documentation, possibilities of access to the scientific and technical, legal and economics information which that literature contains, and possibilities of using this information. The article mentions the most important international standards used in patent publications, recommended by the World Intellectual Property Organization. It also presents the types of computer patent databases and the most important bibliographic and full text databases accessible on CD-ROM and online, and also the specialistic publishers and commercial operators accessing patent information.
