The objective of this paper is the computation of electromagnetic fields radiated by lightning in the presence of the tall tower. In this study we propose a new method which the hybrid method to evaluate the electromagnetic field associated to lightning return stroke impacting elevated strike object such as the towers. This method is the combination of the images method and finite difference time-domain (FDTD) method

Artykuł prezentuje obliczenia rozkładów pól elektromagnetycznych promieniowanych przez piorun w przypadku obecności wysokiej wieży. Zaproponowano nową hybrydową metodę wyznaczania pola elektromagnetycznego towarzyszącego trafieniu wyładowania głównego w obiekty wyniesione, jak np. wieże.
