W artykule przedstawiono strukturę uproszczonego symulatora pojazdu szynowego do celów szkolenia maszynistów w warunkach zbliżonych do warunków panujących na rzeczywistym pojeździe na szlaku. Omówiono korzyści wynikające ze stosowania symulatorów pojazdów szynowych. Omówiono różne rodzaje symulatorów oraz ich wady i zalety. Przedstawiono i omówiono sprzętowo-programową strukturę realizowanego symulatora oraz sposób jego działania symulatora. Opisano poszczególne systemy wchodzące w skład symulatora takie jak: system wizji, system dźwięku, model pojazdu, model pulpitu maszynisty, system ruchu, trasy i scenerie, sytuacje wyjątkowe. Artykuł powstał w ramach projektu badawczego "Symulator jazdy pojazdów szynowych do optymalizacji zużycia energii podczas ruchu pociągów, projektowania nowych tras kolejowych oraz szkolenia maszynistów" NN509 501338 finansowanego przez Ministerstwo Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego.

In this paper a structure of a simplified rail vehicle simulator for training train drivers in conditions imitating real operating conditions is presented. Benefits resulting from use of rail vehicle simulators are presented. Various types of simulators and their advantages and disadvantages are described. Software-hardware structure of the realized simulator and its operation are presented and described. Respective systems of the simulator are described, such as: vision system, sound system, vehicle model, driver's desk model, motion system, routes and scenarios, exceptional situations and emergencies. This paper has been produced as part of the Research Project "Rail vehicles simulator for optimization of the energy consumption during operation of the vehicles, designing new railway tracks and training the drivers" N N509 501338, with the financial support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

W referacie opisano rozwój technologii wspomagających proces szkolenia (symulatory, systemy komputerowe) oraz przedstawiono model wykorzystania takich urządzeń w systemie szkolenia maszynistów.

In the paper use of simulators in training tasks were presented. The experiences of commercial airlines were presented as an example of succesfull utilisation simulators in training process of high complexity. The history, experiences and benefits of using simulators in locomotive drivers training in foreign countries and Poland were described. Also development of modern computer aided training technology (Computer-Based Training-CBT) was presented. The use of CBT systems in various training tasks was described. As a conclusion of the paper the proposal of complex training system for locomotive drivers was suggested. Such system should consist of CBT aids, part task simulators and full scale simulators.
