Artykuł poświęcony jest wykonywaniu fundamentów pod budynki jednorodzinne oraz ich zbrojeniu. Charakteryzuje rodzaje posadowienia budynków i zwraca uwagę na znaczenie indywidualnego dopasowania fundamentu do lokalnych warunków gruntowych i wodnych miejsca, w którym ma stanąć budynek. Wśród możliwych rozwiązań autor zwraca uwagę na konstrukcje płyt fundamentowych. Charakteryzuje materiały z jakich wykonuje się fundamenty głębokość posadowienia oraz dodatkowe funkcje płyty fundamentowej. Dużo uwagi poświęca procesowi wykonywania fundamentów - od prac przygotowawczych, poprzez zakładanie szalunków i montaż elementów żelbetowych, po zabezpieczanie fundamentów przed wilgocią i pielęgnowanie betonu po wylaniu i wczesne etapy budowy.

The article is devoted to the execution of in-situ concrete foundations for detached houses and their reinforcement. It describes the types of foundations of buildings, and takes note of the meaning of individual adaptation of foundations to local soil and water conditions of the future location of the building. Among the possible solutions, the author notes the structure of foundation slabs. He describes the materials of which foundations are made, the founding depth and the additional functions of the foundation slabs. He devotes a lot of attention to the process of execution of foundations - beginning with preparatory work, through the construction of formwork and the installation of reinforced concrete components, to securing the foundations against humidity and care for the concrete following pouring, through the first phases of construction.
