Postępująca globalizacja, mobilność społeczeństwa, modernizacja infrastruktury transportu, chęć posiadania własnego środka transportu przyczyniają się do zwiększonej liczby pojazdów drogowych oraz wielu problemów transportowych. Można do nich zaliczyć przede wszystkich występowanie kongestii transportowej, która w następstwie jest źródłem kolejnych problemów systemów transportu drogowego. Zanie-czyszczenie środowisko, wzmożony hałas, występujące zagrożenia w ruchu drogowym, utrudniona komunikacja wpływa w szczególności negatywnie na funkcjonowanie użytkowników miejskich systemów transportowych. Na wprost zwiększającym się oczekiwaniom użytkowników miejskich systemów transportowych wychodzą systemy wspierające bezpieczeństwo ich użytkownikom oraz zwiększające przepustowość sieci transportowych. Jednym z przykładów systemu jest sygnalizacja świetlna. Implementacja tego systemu pozwala na bezpieczniejsze poruszanie się w ruchu drogowych poszczególnym jego uczestnikom, w tym pieszych. W artykule poruszono problem bezpieczeństwa pieszych w ruchu drogowym. Przedstawiono analizę policyjnych danych statystycznych dotyczących liczby wypadków i ich skutków z udziałem pieszych. Dodatkowo zaprezentowano wyniki badań dotyczących subiektywnej oceny bezpieczeństwa pieszych na skrzyżowaniach drogowych wspieranych sygnalizacją świetlną. Zastosowano metodę wywiadu bezpośredniego z udziałem pieszych jako uczestników ruchu drogowego.

The Processes of Globalisation, mobility of the society, modernization of transport infrastructure, the desire to own means of transport contribute to the increased number of road vehicles and many transport problems. These include, above all, the occurrence of transport congestion, which in turn is the source of further problems of road transport systems. Environmental pollution, increased noise, occurring traffic hazards, difficult communication has a negative impact on the functioning of users of urban transport systems. In contrast to the increasing expectations of users of urban transport systems, systems supporting their safety and increasing the capacity of transport networks come out. One of the examples of the system is traffic lights. The implementation of this system allows for safer movement of individual road users, including pedestrians. The article discusses the problem of pedestrian safety in road traffic. The analysis of police statistical data on the number of accidents and their effects with the participation of pedestrians was presented. In addition, the results of research on the subjective assessment of pedestrian safety at road intersections using traffic lights are presented. The method of direct interview involving pedestrians as participants of road traffic was used.

The article contains an overview of modern solutions for refrigerated vehicles. The most important manufacturers of refrigerated trailers were described. Then, solutions based on adaptation of a refrigeration vehicle were discussed. The characteristics of popular trailers, trailers and bodies used as refrigerators were presented. The telematics systems and aggregates used in refrigerated vehicles were also discussed in the article.

Artykuł zawiera przegląd nowoczesnych rozwiązań dla pojazdów chłodniczych. Opisano najważniejszych producentów naczep chłodniczych. Omówiono rozwiązania oparte na adaptacji pojazdu do chłodnictwa. Przedstawiono charakterystyki popularnych naczep, przyczep i nadwozi wykorzystywanych jako chłodnie. Omówiono systemy telematyczne i agregaty stosowane w samochodach chłodniczych.

This publication is devoted to the analysis of the distribution of the duration of the particular operating statuses of the Passenger Information System of the Warsaw Metro. Firstly, I specify the operating statuses that the system can reach. Secondly, I present a directed graph of the operation process, which enables to identify all the possible transitions between the specified states, and, ultimately, to determine their expected duration time. This analysis was performed using semi-Markov processes. Finally, the article contains the evaluation of the Passenger Information System of the Warsaw Metro based on the results.

Niniejsza publikacja przedstawia zagadnienia związane z analizą rozkładów czasów trwania poszczególnych stanów eksploatacyjnych Systemu Informacji Pasażerskiej Warszawskiego Metra. W pierwszej kolejności wyszczególniono stany eksploatacyjne w których może znaleźć się opisywany system, następnie przedstawiony został graf skierowany procesu eksploatacji, który pozwolił na określenie wszystkich możliwych przejść pomiędzy wyszczególnionymi stanami, by w konsekwencji wyznaczyć wartości oczekiwane ich czasów trwania. Analiza ta dokonana została przy wykorzystaniu procesów semi-Markowa. W dalszej kolejności przedstawiono ocenę Systemu Informacji Pasażerskiej Warszawskiego Metra na podstawie uzyskanych wyników.

W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję urządzenia do pomiarów prędkości dla wybranego odcinka drogi. W urządzeniu wykorzystano metodę promieniowania optycznego dwóch nadajników oraz dwóch odbiorników podczerwieni. Urządzenie wykorzystuje środowisko programowania graficznego LabView.

Międzynarodowy transport drogowy towarów jest dynamicznie rozwijającą się gałęzią gospodarki, a wzrost podaży usług i coraz większa konkurencja na rynku determinują firmy spedycyjne i transportowe do poszukiwania innowacyjnych rozwiązań systemowych. Kompleksowe i efektywnie zarządzanie flotą pojazdów w transporcie drogowym wymaga dzisiaj wdrożenia nowoczesnych systemów telematycznych. Poza poprawą efektywności ekonomicznej przedsiębiorstwa i bezpieczeństwa transportowanego ładunku systemy te umożliwiają kontrolę parametrów pracy kierowców, monitorowanie pojazdów i wsparcie w zarządzaniu zleceniami transportowymi. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie koncepcji wsparcia telematycznego w procesie zarządzania flotą pojazdów ciężarowych. Podstawą zaproponowanych rozwiązań była identyfikacja problemów w zarządzaniu taborem na przykładzie małej firmy transportowej oraz analiza jakościowa modułów wybranych systemów telematycznych.

International road transport of goods is a rapidly growing sector of the economy and the growth in the supply of road transport services and fiercer competition in the market determine the forwarding and transport companies to seek innovative system solutions. Comprehensive and effective fleet management in road transport requires today the implementation of modern telematic systems. In addition to improving the economic efficiency of an enterprise and the security of transported cargo, these systems allow one to control the parameters of drivers' work, vehicle monitoring and support in the management of transport orders. The aim of the study is to present the concept of telematics support in the management of fleet vehicles. The basis of the proposed solutions was to identify problems in the fleet management on the example of a small transport company and qualitative analysis of modules chosen telematics systems.

W niniejszym opracowaniu dokonano analizy funkcjonowania systemów telematycznych w transporcie drogowym, z punktu widzenia zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa uczestników ruchu drogowego jak i informacji o sytuacji i warunkach panujących na drogach. Zidentyfikowano niewłaściwe zachowania uczestników ruchu, które bezpośrednio wpływają i pełnią funkcję wspomagającą oraz informującą dla kierującego pojazdem o możliwych zagrożeniach w ruchu drogowym. W pracy podjęto również problematykę dotyczącą poboru opłat za korzystanie z eksploatacji dróg. W opracowaniu dokonano analizy i oceny funkcjonowania systemu poboru opłat drogowych dla pojazdów transportowych – „ciężarowych” w Polsce. Jednocześnie zbadano preferencje i dokonano oceny funkcjonowania, na podstawie danych ankietowych pozyskanych od użytkowników systemu poboru opłat drogowych, na temat słuszności zastosowania, jego wad i zalet, skuteczności działania oraz kosztów z tym związanych.

In this study, an analysis of functioning of telematic systems in road transportation has been made, in terms of providing the road traffic users with safety and information about the road conditions. Improper behaviors of road users affecting directly the situation on the road have been identified. Knowing those behaviors has informative value for drivers who are aware of possible threats that may occur in road traffic. Also the problems connected with execution of payments for using roads have been discussed. An analysis and evaluation of the payment system for road using by transportation vehicles trucks in Poland have been carried out. Moreover, preferences of road users have been studied and on the basis of surveys, functioning of the system of payment for roads has been evaluated. The evaluation is based on the opinions of road users on the subject of these payments. Their justification, advantages and disadvantages, efficiency and costs involved have been presented.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the recognition process of driver’s voice commands spoken in car cabin using Sphinx-4 – the speech recognizer written entirely in Java language. Sphinx-4 recognizer was tested in real-time conditions in standalone car with engine on/off. The speech material consisted of sentences spoken directly to the microphone. Results showed significant differences in recognition accuracy obtained in different conditions (engine on/off).

This paper presents the characteristics of the system supporting the work AUTOLOG transport company for the monitoring of mobile objects. The solution can reduce vehicle operating costs through the ability to effectively analyze data from dedicated devices and sensors used for vehicle monitoring. The uniqueness of this system is its open architecture, which enables its cooperation with any devices from different manufacturers.

The benefits of the e-call system are primarily based on the faster relaying of essential initial accident information, such as the type of accident and the precise accident location.
