There have been several canonical studies on the historiography of the political history of the systemic transformation in Poland still constitute a point of reference for researchers today. At the same time, however, the dynamic growth of the source base and the increasing popularity of post-structuralist scientific trends resulted in the fact that the research perspective characteristic of this canon is aging rapidly. The analysis and comments formulated in this text are an attempt at balancing the strengths and weaknesses of the historiography of the political history of the systemic transformation to date and an attempt to indicate how it potentially could develop further.

Inflacja jest zjawiskiem znanym od początku gospodarki rynkowej. Nie ominęła nawet gospodarek centralnie planowanych oraz gospodarek poddanych procesowi transformacji. Poglądy dotyczące tego zjawiska ulegały zmianom na przestrzeni dziejów, dlatego też konieczne wydaje się zaprezentowanie głównych koncepcji i interpretacji inflacji.

Transformacja systemowa niesie z sobą całkowitą i kompleksową zmianę warunków funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstw. Podmioty gospodarcze stają przed koniecznością ciągłego dostosowywania się do zmiennego otoczenia. Problemy związane z adaptacją do nowych warunków są wyjątkowo dotkliwe dla sektora małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw. Szansą przetrwania dla tychże firm może się stać działalność w ramach sieci franchisingowych. Małe i średnie przedsiębiorstwa zyskują ze strony dawcy wsparcie finansowe, korzystają ze sprawdzonej metody działania, mają do dyspozycji nowoczesne metody zarządzania oraz wysoko wykwalifikowany personel.

Economic transformation is connected with comprehensive changes in economy. Companies are forced to adapt to changeable environment. It is really difficult situation for small and medium companies. Franchising might be an ideal opportunity for them to survive the transformation. Franchisers can provide small and medium companies with knowledge, financial support and modern methods of management and therefore small firms are able to operate well even in difficult situations.
