W artykule omówiono problemy towarzyszące eksploatacji suwnic pomostowych. W rezultacie postępu technologicznego zwrócono uwagę na potrzebę wprowadzania do eksploatacji suwnic systemów ciągłego nadzorowania ich stanu technicznego. Omówiono zintegrowany system oceny stanu technicznego urządzenia i system jego monitoringu.

Selected problems accompanying exploitation of the metallurgical overhead cranes have been discussed. As the result of the technologlcal progress at the metallurgical business the supervision system of the selected diagnostics parameters of the device is strongly overlooking. The integrated supervision system, as well as the monitoring system of the crane have been discussed by details.
