W artykule podjęto próbę oceny możliwości uruchomienia żeglugi kontenerowej na drogach wodnych śródlądowych w Polsce. Przeanalizowano zarówno możliwości techniczne, jak i potencjalny rynek przewozowy. W oparciu o analizę połączeń żeglugowych oraz funkcje, jakie pełnią porty śródlądowe w krajach Europy Zachodniej, zaproponowano możliwe scenariusze połączeń żeglugowych w ramach systemu intermodalnego w Polsce.

The article presents the possible scenarios for inland shipping services in the intermodal system in Poland. The presented scen arios were based on analysis of the technical possibilities of inland waterways, character of container shipping in Western Europe and potential of container market in Poland.
