System health diagnosis serves as an underpinning enabler for enhanced safety and optimized maintenance tasks in complex assets. In the past four decades, a wide-range of diagnostic methods have been proposed, focusing either on system or component level. Currently, one of the most quickly emerging concepts within the diagnostic community is system level diagnostics. This approach targets in accurately detecting faults and suggesting to the maintainers a component to be replaced in order to restore the system to a healthy state. System level diagnostics is of great value to complex systems whose downtime due to faults is expensive. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive review of the most recent diagnostics approaches applied to hardware systems. The main objective of this paper is to introduce the concept of system level diagnostics and review and evaluate the collated approaches. In order to achieve this, a comprehensive review of the most recent diagnostic methods implemented for hardware systems or components is conducted, highlighting merits and shortfalls.

W artykule przedstawiono jakie czynniki mają wpływ na diagnozowanie systemu kierowca – pojazd – otoczenie. Omówiono cechy psychiczne kierowcy oraz jego zachowanie w ruchu drogowym. Przeanalizowano przyczyny zdarzeń drogowych spowodowanych przez kierujących.

The article presents the factors that have an impact on system diagnostics driver – vehicle – environment. Discusses the psychological characteristics of the driver and his behavior in traffic. We analyzed the causes of road accidents caused by drivers.

This paper describes the use of genetic optimization in diagnostic system decomposition. First, an overview of diagnostic system and the reasons for its decomposition are given. Decomposition quality index is proposed. In the second part the analysis of a genetic algorithm application possibility is placed. The structure of the genome, type of genetic algorithm and genetic operators are described. Investigations on best values of key parameters is the main subject of third part. As a summary, a description of industrial application for diagnostic system decomposition on a hydrocarbon plant is placed..

Artykuł zawiera opis wykorzystania optymalizacji genetycznej do dekompozycji systemu diagnostycznego. Na początku zamieszczono definicje systemu diagnostycznego i przesłanki do stosowania dekompozycji. Zaproponowano wskaźnik jakości dekompozycji. Druga część zawiera analizę możliwości wykorzystania algorytmu genetycznego do rozwiązania postawionego zadania. Przedstawiono strukturę genomu, typ algorytmu oraz operatorów genetycznych. Następna część artykułu zawiera wyznaczenie optymalnych wartości kluczowych parametrów algorytmu genetycznego. Na koniec przedstawiono przykład zastosowania opracowanej metodologii na rzeczywistej instalacji.

W artykule zaprezentowano problematykę dotyczącą realizacji procesu symulacyjnego testowania elementów sieci telemetrycznych z zastosowaniem metod diagnostyki systemowej. Omówiono podstawy zagadnienia z zakresu wykorzystywanych metod diagnostyki systemowej. Przedstawiono zarysy projektu sieci telemetrycznej do badań w zakresie diagnostyki i bezpieczeństwa, a także opracowywane dla niej środowisko symulacyjne dla potrzeb testowania elementów tej sieci. Na bazie środowiska symulacyjnego zaprezentowano przykładową realizację procesu diagnozowania elementów sieci telemetrycznej.

This paper describes the implementation of a process of simulation testing elements of telemetry networks on the basis of system diagnostics methods. A project of telemetry networks to diagnostics researches was presented. Moreover, fundamental theory of system diagnostics, theoretical basis of the process tests generation, a model set of tests, worked out for the examined network and a way of interpretation of get results are given.
