Wrost wymagań co do wydajności oraz dokładności dokonywanych za pomocą koparki jednonaczyniowej prac spowodował potrzebę stosowania systemów pomagania operatora. Systemy takie wydają się szególnie przydatne przy pracach wymagających ciągłej wymiany wykorzystywanych przez maszynę narzędzi. Istniejące na rynku systemy tego typu cechują się dużą różnorodnością, ale wszystkie one nie spełniają w całości oczekiwań użytkowników. W głównej mierze jest to spowodowane ograniczoną funkcjonalnością dostępnych produktów. Obecnie niejednokrotnie operatorzy są zmuszeni do montowania na maszynie kilku systemów o różnych możliwościach eracyjnych

Increasing demands concerning efficiency and precision of works done by a single bucket excavators has led to development systems assisting operators during work. Such systems seems to be particularly useful during works requiring constant changes of the work tools. There is a variety of them on the market, however not all of them fulfil all user expectations. That is mostly due to limited functionality of the products. Nowadays operators have to mount up to a few different systems on one excavator. Facing these needs, the Department of Off-Road Machine and Vehicle Engineering at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, within a EU Commission project PROSYMA, has taken part in development of a new complex system for operator assistance. A system which inter alia: precisely positions the work tool tip, identifies the actual tip-over stability of the excavator, measures the loads acting on the tool, weighs the mass of the material in the tool, monitors proper tool installation in the quick-coupler has been developed. Based on analyses and tests carried out within the scope of the project, a fully functional prototype has been developed. In the article it has been presented and compared to other systems of this class. Selected test results have been discussed.
