Dla efektywnego wspomagania procesu eksploatacji statków powietrznych użytkowanych w Siłach Zbrojnych RP zostały wprowadzone systemy informatyczne m.in. system SI SAMANTA, zawierający dane o niesprawnościach instalacji i systemów pokładowych, a także system SI TURAWA, umożliwiający określanie statusu wybranych parametrów eksploatacyjnych. W artykule przedstawiono komputerowy systemu ewidencji danych zintegrowanego systemu łączności, który eksploatowany jest na śmigłowcach Mi8/Mi17/Mi24. Gromadzone dane eksploatacyjne systemu dają możliwość wyznaczania i oceny parametrów eksploatacyjnych, w tym niezawodności oraz gotowości operacyjnej.

In Poland, the effective aiding of the operation of aircraft and helicopters used in the Polish Armed Forces is also provided by IT systems, including, among others, the SAMANTA system, which includes data about the defects of avionic systems and devices, and the TURAWA system, which allows specifying the status and selected operating parameters. The Air Force Institute of Technology runs an IT system in the form of a database to collect specific data and determine the value of selected operating parameters in the scope of the ZSŁ (integrated communication system). The database is regularly updated with information concerning, among others, dates of commencing maintenance, servicing and storage of particular ZSŁ system components, results of checks and inspections, descriptions of damage and defects, as well as the times of their operation on board of an aircraft (data collected from military units using the system).
