W pracy przedstawiono charakterystykę, rodzaje i budowę systemów klasy CMS. Zaprezentowano możliwość wykorzystania systemów CMS w procesie komputerowo wspomaganego projektowania maszyn, na płaszczyźnie prezentacji informacji.

The characteristics, the kinds and the structure of the CMS class systems was presented in the paper. The possibility of using the CMS systems in a computer aided machine design process in scope of the presentation of the information was adduced.

In the latest years, web sites have become the most important element of the advertising campaign of each company. They have become basic channel of the communication between company and clients. Beside of big corporations, also micro- and small companies are interested in building and development of their own WWW services. Unfortunately, specialized personnel is mostly big problem, for them. The best solution for this companies are Content Management Systems (CMS). Operation and management of very advanced and sophisticated service by personnel without this kind of knowledge have been enabled by CMS.
