The test results can be helpful for the designers and users of the strand transmissions with synchronous belts. Both calculation procedures and selection process of the transmission subassemblies should take into account the real values of the transmission efficiency. The efficiency depends on the initial tension of the cogbelt, transmission ratio and coupling between the cogbelt and the wheel gear. The evaluated values of the efficiency (when we take into account the losses in the bearings) are in convergence with data presented in literature [Nagel T., 2008, Pakula A., 2000].
