Przedstawiono wybrane programy oraz metodologię postępowania, które znajdują coraz szersze zastosowanie w inżynierii ochrony środowiska, podkreślono zastosowania symulatorów flowshee- tingowych. a także specjalnych metod jak CPAS, WAR. MEN czy EAR. Przedstawiono również możliwości stworzone przez interent, który stal się już narzędziom pracy inżyniera.

Selected software and methods broadly employed in environmental protection engineering are presented. The use of flowsheeting simulators and such special methods as CPAS, WAR, MEN or EAR are underlined. Possibilities created by Internet (nowadays the engineer's professional tool) are also presented.
