Artykuł przedstawia idee elastycznego podejścia do projektowania na przykładzie obiektów zbudowanych na potrzebny Olimpiady w Londynie w 2012 roku. Artykuł ma na celu podkreślenie, iż coraz częściej podczas procesu projektowania obiektów sportowych istotne staje się zagadnienie stworzenia takiego projektu, który uwzględni gotowość do zmian w cyklu życia. Spowodowane jest to właśnie dynamiką zmian otoczenia, które generują znaczne trudności podczas projektowania. Najlepszym rozwiązaniem w obliczu powyższych trudności jest właśnie elastyczność, która daje szansę na dostosowanie się do możliwych zmian.

The article presents the idea of flexible approach to designing on case study of London Olympic 2012 facilities. The article aims to emphasize that the issue of creating a design that will take into account the readiness to changes in the life cycle becomes more and more important during the design process of sports facilities. It is caused by the dynamics of changes of the surroundings, which generate considerable difficulties in designing. The best solution in view of the above difficulties is flexibility, which gives a chance to adapt to possible changes.

Grinding operations are one of the most commonly used preparation processes in many branches, for example in food, energy and chemical sectors. This paper focuses on the issues connected with design of technical objects in accordance with sustainable development assumptions. The aim of this study is to create methodology of sustainable design of grinding machine, including external influences involved in their operation, to increase safety, energy, economic and eco- efficiency. The problem formulated as a question: what techniques, equipment, methods, and ways should be used in design to obtain a new, better grinder structure? To resolve the problem, original methodology of sustainable design has been created.
