The silicon dioxide particles are obtained as a result of chemical reaction of the sodium silicate in the aqueous glycol solytion with the gaseous carbon dioxide supplying the reaction mixture in the riser of the draft-tube airlift reactor. It is observed the viscosity changes during the reaction time. It is noticed that the gas flow rate influence distinctly the start moment of the reaction as well as the suspension viscosity course during the reaction i.e. gas supplying duration.
