Rzeczoznawstwo jest jedną z najbardziej odpowiedzialnych form działalności w budownictwie. Bezpieczne utrzymanie obiektów istniejących i nowo budowanych, często o bardzo skomplikowanej konstrukcji, a także z zastosowaniem najnowszych technologii stawiają przed rzeczoznawstwem coraz to poważniejsze i bardziej odpowiedzialne zadania. Rzeczoznawcy powoływani są do opiniowania trudnych problemów technicznych w projektowaniu, wykonawstwie i użytkowaniu obiektów budowlanych oraz z zasady biorą udział w ocenie przyczyn i skutków zagrożeń, katastrof i awarii obiektów budowlanych, w tym spowodowanych „siłami natury”.

Surveying is one of the most responsible forms of activity in the construction industry. Safe maintenance of existing and newly built facilities, which often have very complicated constructions and make use of the latest technologies, pose more and more serious and responsible tasks for the surveyor. Surveyors are appointed to give opinions on difficult technical problems in the design, construction and use of building facilities and they tend to be involved in assessment of causes and effects of hazards, disasters and breakdowns of construction works, including those caused by the „forces of nature”.

This paper gives a proposition of a model of the maximum range of a range finder. It is based on the laser range equation and a Phong model. It shows how theincidence angle affects the maximum range when measuring to the surface that characterizes with diffuse – specular refection. The results shows that one can determine the boundary angle for which the optimum performance of maximum range is maintained.

The paper gives some final results of the subproject "Three Dddimensional Plate Kinematics in Romania" of the CRC 461 "Strong Earthquakes", funded by the German Research Foundation at the Universitat Karlsruhe in the year 1996 to 2007. The reprocessing of the data of 14 GPS campaigns performed from 1995 to 2006 in the deformation network, covering the middle and eastern part of Romania, using the Bernese Software (version 5.0) is discussed, including the analysis of multipath effects and antenna calibrations. From the daily coordinate solutions astation velocities were derived using the kinematic model of deformation analysis. Based on these station velocities a three dimensinal velocity field was estimated using the technique of multilevel B-spline approximation, followed by the calculation of strain components. Especially the results of the height derormations could help to support the geophysical modelling of the Vrancea earthquakes.

This paper the method of 2D image registration two similarity measures were used: mutual information and cross-correlation. The presented method is fast and simple technique of monitoring local construction's displacements on basis cameraz it is a cost effective to classical geodetic methods. The accuracy of the proposed solution was verifield by precise geodetic measurements.

This paper presents the results of investigation of geometry accuracy using reflectorless techniques. Experimental measurenents were carried out the polygon using new tacheometers and a monitoring application program. The results of experimental measurements were analyzed and presented graphicall in Surfer 8. Contour maps and isometric projections of the surface of imperfection are elements of the present study. It presents the results of investigation of measurements accuracy in geometry according to various geometry conditions.

Since 1997 till 2008, several series of precise GPS measurements have been conducted on specially stabilized points of Geodynamical Network of City of Zagreb with purpose of investigation of tectonic movements and related seismic activity of the wider area of the City of Zagreb. From this series of GPS measurements geodetic model of tectonic movements has been created. In the area of interest, independent geological investigations have been conducted through even longer period of time which resulted in geological model of tectonic movements. Comparison and correlation of these two independent models will be presented in this paper.

Niniejsze opracowanie stanowi analizę przydatności skanerów laserowych do pomiaru strzałek zwisu lin odciągowych obiektów wieżowych i przewodów napowietrznych linii energetycznych. Biorąc pod uwagę liczne publikacje na temat obliczeń główny nacisk położony został na analizę przydatności nowych technologii w pomiarach. W artykule opisano prace terenowe wykonane przy użyciu skanera GS 200 firmy Trimble-MENSI, jak również czynności kameralne oraz analizę pozyskanych wyników. Przedstawiono również porównanie pomiaru przewodów napowietrznych skanerem laserowym z innymi metodami pomiarowymi. Pod uwagę została wzięta przydatność w różnych rodzajach pomiarów, takich jak realizacja i inwentaryzacja lin. Analizie poddana została także efektywność pomiaru zarówno pod względem dokładnościowym, czasu pomiaru, kameralnego opracowania wyników, jak i ekonomicznym.

The usefulness of laser scanner for guy-rope sag measurements is being analyzed in the present study. Taking a great number of publications concerning calculations into account, an emphasis has been put on the new technologies' use for measurements. The article includes description of the field measurements carried at using GS 200 scanner (made by Trimble-MENSI) and the analysis of the results. The comparison of the guy-ropes measurements conducted with the means of different methods - including laser scanner - has also been presented with the regard to their utility to different sorts of examination, such as a realisation or inventory of the cables. The effectiveness of the measurement has also been the subject to a thorough analysis concerning precision, time spent on measuring, economic factor and the results.
