In this paper the problems of the construction of numerical models of different complication using simple-profile bars of the support structure of the laboratory roter are considered. The presence in the structure of the thin-walled elements of the opened profile (double-T shape element), for which the saint-Venant principle is not applicable and deformation of the cross-section takes place, does not allow to carry out the simple change of such elements to separate bars. For the adequate description of the double-T shape elements deformation they are modeled by bar frame structures. Results of calculations by proposed method of forced vibrations of the all rotor support structure in the frequency range till 200 Hz are good agreement with results of experimental investigations [1], and the results of calculations of free vibrations of the same structure without foundation - with results of analysis by more exact models using plate and spatial elements.

In the paper presented are distributions and results of a first stage of investigations of dynamic properties of support structure incorporating a three-support roter. The stage encompassed investigations of the object by means ofexperimental modal analysis using the impact test. In the paper presented have been preliminary activities for the test, its course, the results of conducted investigations and expected further scope of research.

Zwrócono uwagę na nieścisłość opisu przebiegów harmonicznych, występujących w drganiach układów mechanicznych, opisu rozpowszechnionego w literaturze technicznej, a także zastosowanego w publikacji [1]. Nieścisłość ta, zauważona w Monografii: Strukturdynamik, autorstwa profesorów R. Gasch'a i K. Knothe'go, nie doprowadziła do istotnych błędów w obliczeniach, lecz miała charakter nomenklaturowy.

There has been noticed certain impreciseness in the description of harmonic relation which occurs in the vibration of mechanical systems. Such description is often found in the technical literature and had been used in the publication [1]. The above impreciseness has been noticed in monograph "Strukturdynamik" written by prof. R. Gasch and K. Knothe. It does not lead to any significant errors in calculations, but have mainly a terminology character.
