W artykule przedstawiono stany dynamiczne silnika synchronicznego, który pracował w stanie ustalonym, po czym napięcie sieci zasilającej zostało wyłączone, a następnie załączone. Przy chwilowym zaniku napięcia, strumień wzbudzenia silnika synchronicznego nie zanika, silnik wiruje i w uzwojeniu twornika indukuje się napięcie rotacji. W silnikach synchronicznych prąd wzbudzenia, z uwagi na dużą elektromagnetyczną stałą czasową uzwojenia wirnika (przy otwartym uzwojeniu stojana), powoduje wzrost strumienia magnetycznego i wzrost napięcia rotacji indukowanego w uzwojeniu stojana. Wartość udarowa prądu Iu , w najbardziej niekorzystnym przypadku, może wynosić 21,6I IN , a moment udarowy może być równy 8TN .

Presented are dynamic states of a synchronous motor which was working in a steady state while suddenly the supply voltage was turned off and then turned on. During the momentary power failure the excitation flux in a synchronous motor does not disappear. The motor rotates and in the armature winding the rotational voltage is induced. The exciting current in synchronous motors, due to the large electromagnetic time constant of the rotor winding (with an opened stator winding), causes an increase of the magnetic flux and the growth of the induced rotational voltage in the stator winding. With the most unfavorable circumstances the current Iu can reach the value of 21,6IN and the torque can reach the value of 8TN .
