Current report describes the works executed under the program of modernization of submersible borehole pumps for water. The main aim of this project is to reduce the Life Cycle Cost of borehole pumps for water. The project consists of two parts - developing of new electric motors and design of new pumps. Two main stages of developing of electric motors and new pump are described in this report. For developing pumps modern methods of numerical flow simulations with using ANSYS CFX11 program were used.

General information on the exploitation of underground waters is provided. It is shown that there is a need for underwater pumping aggregates with increased rotational speed. The effect of supply voltage frequency on the submersible motor's basic parameters and dimensions is discussed.

Podano ogólne wiadomości na temat eksploatacji wód podziemnych. Zasygnalizowano celowość budowy podwodnych agregatów pompowych o podwyższonej prędkości obrotowej. Omówiono wpływ częstotliwości napięcia zasilającego na podstawowe parametry i wymiary silnika głębinowego.
