Purpose: Modern researchers substantiate the need to investigate the transformation of management style in various organizations. Socium cannot successfully function and develop without its own, corresponding to its goals, style of state management interaction, ideology of social control. Design/methodology/approach: Basing on the analysis, thinking and generalization of theoretical approaches and attitudes of various researchers, updates of approaches to the study of the participatory management style in the civil service system are presenting, the essential features of participatory management style are clarifying. Findings: Research tries to understand how roles of management can not be fulfilling by chance, borrowing from the side and reflecting the spiritual experience of someone else’s experiences. Originality/value: It really now explains current scientific direction of study of management style, showing it’s path from classic style into post-NPM style of ruling.

The article presents the subject matter in scope of human resources management in an exemplary production enterprise. The company under study is a production enterprise that produces: juice, nectars, drinks and mineral waters. The characteristics, skills and activities that constitute model attitudes of the management were determined, as well as the ways of management that exist in the selected company were identified. The paper also presents the results of a questionnaire survey in which employees' opinions on specific managerial behaviors and their impact on work efficiency were presented. Additionally, the employees' expectations regarding managerial behaviors are described. The survey was completed by 40 employees of the company who voluntarily and anonymously agreed to participate in the study. They were people working in various departments of the company.

The basis for the functioning of every organization and achieving the set goals are employees. It is they who shape the image, create the organizational culture and reputation of the company in the environment. Their competences, knowledge and skills determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s operations. Thanks to their work, products and services are created that meet social needs and thus organizational progress. The aim of this work was to conduct research on the organization's ability to identify and retain the best employees, the ability to promote desired attitudes and behaviors, as well as to create a friendly and rewarding work environment that are key factors for business success. Updating the knowledge possessed by employees and developing new skills is often crucial in keeping the organization on the market.

W artykule przedstawiono wizerunek kobiety we współczesnym biznesie. Przytoczono powody niskiego udziału kobiet na stanowiskach zarządczych. Wskazano argumenty przemawiające za zwiększeniem obecności liczby kobiet na najwyższych stanowiskach, co mogłoby sprzyjać zwiększeniu efektywności przedsiębiorstw. Uzupełnieniem rozważań są zagadnienia dotyczące głównych różnic w stylach zarządzania kobiet i mężczyzn.

The following article presents the image of women in the current business environment. The Author enumerated the reasons for minor presence of women holding managerial positions. The article stipulates arguments for the increase in the number of women holding top executive jobs, which makes enterprises flourish. The deliberations were supplemented by issues related to main differences between male and female management styles.

The assessment of the suitability of elements of classic leadership map/ managerial grids for opinion poll was undertaken. ‘Dead’ measurement points, containing digit 5 as an abscissa or ordinate, were assigned to particular quarters in the leadership grid through switching from the scale of 1÷9 to 1÷8. The structure of assessment of human problem importance and production issues for five enterprises after the change of scale was also presented.

This chapter focuses on identification of managerial traits (defined in 4E+P principles) of the managers in a bakery and confectionery as well as in administration of steelworks. Existence of elements which prove two styles of management used by the managers was observed.

Większość pytanych menedżerów odpowiada bez wahania - "do zapewnienia jakości". Często się zdarza, że menedżerowie mówią, co myślą, lecz gdy zarządzają, to myślą nie to co mówią i firmom wychodzi to na zdrowie. Uważać, że jakość może być celem firmy jest albo naiwnością, albo hipokryzją. Jakość to przykra konieczność, jak gorzkie lekarstwo, które trzeba przyjmować, by osiągnąć coś ważniejszego. Jakość nie może być celem firmy, tak jak praca nie jest, nie była i nie będzie celem firmy. Jakość, jak praca, jest tylko środkiem realizacji celów firmy, tyle, że środkiem potężnym i mało jeszcze dotychczas przez konkurentów wyeksploatowanym.
