In this paper, a method of decomposition of characteristics into partial fractions was applied in order to synthesize the dynamical characteristics of the longitudinally or torsionally vibrating mechanical system characterized by a branched structure. At the end of this paper, the idea of computer-aided numerical synthesis and analysis of vibrating systems represented by graphs has been shown.
