The paper presents the development of a software package for static and time-variable magnetic field calculations in 2D electromagnetic structures for educational purposes. It has a simple and clear structure in order to assure students a simple tool for studying electromagnetic fields. It enables the step-by-step insight into the procedure of the pre-processor, structure of the solvers and representation of the results. The computational results are also compared with other FEM packages and have proved to be of a significant practical value in the post-graduate courses.
