Some unusual problems relating to the dynamics of the industrial ferroconcrete slab ceilings weighed down with machines are consider. The choice is make on the ground of the research results concerning the real constructions. Questions which are discuss concern the change of the stiffness as the result of incorrect execution of the ceiling as well as damages arising during its use. These are two kinds of problems: these of the construction which became weaker due to the machine oil's or chemical substances' effect and unilateral constraints problems (damage of the supporting construction's components).

Drgania stropów spowodowane są przez czynniki zewnętrzne (np. przez poruszające się wózki widłowe). Odczuwalność tych drgań przez użytkowników jest uzależniona od okresu drgań stropu oraz przyspieszeń stropu jakie wywołują masy ruchome. Nie tylko stropy użyteczności publicznej powinno być sprawdzone w fazie projektowania na oddziaływanie źródeł drgań na użytkowników i na elementy konstrukcyjne, lecz także obiekty przemysłowe. Drgania elementów konstrukcyjnych budynku obniżają trwałość tych elementów i mogą doprowadzić do awarii budowlanej.

The vibrations of floors can arise from external sources such as road, rail traffic and other machine or even pedestrian traffic. Human perception of vibration is in one sense very sensitive. The criterion is likely to be set at a low level. Some vibration and accelaration of the floor can cause destruction main structural elements. So designer have to check frequency and accelaration of the floor for public and industrial buildnings. Particularly, if the fundamental frequency is less than 10Hz, the acceleration should be calculated. American and British design methods use significantly different procedures to determine if a proposed floor is acceptable. The North American criterion states is basis of accelaration. The British criterion uses response factors calculated from different relationships depending on the floor frequency.

Na podstawie wieloletnich badań własnych i w nawiązaniu do zaleceń literaturowych przedstawiono problemy dynamicznej pracy dwóch rodzajów stropów przemysłowych obciążonych maszynami. Omówiono też możliwość identyfikacji wytężenia dynamicznego elementów stropów w przypadkach, gdy bezpośredni pomiar jest utrudniony lub niemożliwy.

On the base of autor's own multi-years investigation the problem of dynamic behaviour of two kinds of industry floors loaded with machinery has been presented. The possibility of identification dynamic efforts of the floor units in case when the direct measurement is difficult or impossible has been indicated.
