The paper present a time domain reflectometry module designed as a part of an analyzer of DLS transmission lines. Small size, programmable TDR module (to be included in the hand-belt, battery-operated line analyzer) was designed, constructed and tested in the laboratory, proving its usefulness for detecting lines imperfections. The paper illustrates the principle of operation of the TDR units, its basic building blocks and the software environment created for device testing.

W artykule opisano pośrednią, optymalizowaną metodę pomiaru prędkości obrotowej za pomocą stroboskopu cyfrowego. Optymalizacja dotyczy poprawy dokładności wyznaczenia wartości estymaty prędkości obrotowej o dużej wartości (rzędu kilkudziesięciu tysięcy obrotów na minutę). Na podstawie przeprowadzonych pomiarów i obliczeń stwierdzono, iż opty-malizowana metoda pomiaru pozwala na kilkukrotne zmniejszenie warto-ści niepewności wyniku pomiaru w stosunku do metody konwencjonalnej.

In the article, indirect optimalized method of rotary speed measurement by the use of digital stroboscope was described. Optimalization applies to the improvement of the accuracy of estimator of the rotary speed measurement calculation for high speeds values (at the order of ten thousands rotations per minute). On the base of calculations it was found, that it exists, for some optimal speed (Figure 1) at which estimator of the measurement uncertainty has a minimal value. On the base of measurements (Table 1) it was also computed, that the optimalization allows to minimize, several times, value of the relative measurement uncertainty (Table 2).
