W artykule opisano rodzaje zagrożeń psychospołecznych i źródła stresu w miejscu pracy w odkrywkowych zakładach górniczych. Analizy zagadnienia dokonano na podstawie badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych w odkrywkowych kopalniach górnictwa skalnego, stwierdzając, że ponad 70% ankietowanych odczuwa obciążenie psychiczne związane z pracą.

Kinds of psychosocial threats and sources of stress at workplace, in open-cast mines have been described in the article. The analysis of the issue has been performed on the basis of a questionnaire carried out among rock mining employees. The survey included questions concerning general information about the respondents, conditions connected with mental strain and their impact on overall employees' health, as well as the influence of environmental working conditions, natural and technological threats, interpersonal relations and the system of work on employee's mental strain. On the basis of the study it has been stated that around 70% of the respondents feel mental strain due to environmental working conditions, and around 80% feel mental strain due to natural threats and technological working conditions. According to the respondents the main stress-inducing factors were: hard work, its inappropriate organization, fear for their own lives and health, responsibility for others and environmental factors negatively influencing their organisms. Numerous employees consider payroll issues connected with their work another stress-inducing factor. The effect of the above-mentioned stress-inducing factors are various health ailments such as hypertension, problems with concentration, unstable emotions, malaise or excessive fatigue.

Artykuł omawia transformację polskiego handlu detalicznego w latach 19892017. W artykule zostały przedstawione liczne innowacje, które zostały wprowadzone w tym sektorze, a także przemiany w strukturze własności i powierzchni punktów handlowych. W dalszej części artykułu autor koncentruje się na problematyce stresu i wypalenia zawodowego na polskim rynku pracy w kontekście przeprowadzonych badań dotyczących wypalenia zawodowego pracowników hipermarketu w Rybniku (woj. śląskie).

The article discusses the transformation of the Polish retail sector in the years 1989-2017. Numerous innovations were presented in the article, which were introduced in the retail sector, as well as changes in the ownership structure and in the shopping areas. Later in the article the author focuses on the problems of professional burnout in the Polish labour market. The article also presents researche connected with the professional burnout of employees in the hypermarket in Rybnik (Silesia Region, Poland, European Union).

Recent research has shown that work stress has become a widespread concern in Australia and other countries. It is a growing concern across all employment sectors as well as occupational levels and reported as a common cause of occupational illness. Work stress can be prevented if it is identified, measured and changes are made to the work environment. Multi-Agent technology has been used in many applications but has not been applied in psychology for analysing data. This paper presents hybridized techniques, which have been used to develop an online tool for work stress assessment and prevention.

Ostatnie badania wykazały, że stres w miejscu pracy stał się przedmiotem rosnących obaw w Australii i w innych krajach. Wszystkie sektory zatrudnienia doświadczają wzrostu psychicznych chorób zatrudnieniowych. Stres w miejscu pracy może być uniknięty jeśli jest identyfikowany, mierzony i stosowne zmiany są implementowane w środowisku pracy. Technologia systemów wieloagentowych jest używana w wielu aplikacjach, lecz nie była dotąd zastosowana w psychologii do analizy danych. Artykuł prezentuje techniki hybrydowe, zastosowane do oceny online i prewencji stresu.

In the paper theoretical analysis regarding workplace stress are provided. Wide range and universality of this phenomena is emphasized. Essence and course of stress reaction are presented. The factors determining workplace stress, organizational as well as personality, are discussed. Negative consequences of workplace stress on employees health are analyzed.
