W artykule przedstawiono wybrane zagadnienia dotyczące wzmocnienia słabonośnego podłoża gruntowego z użyciem kolumn żwirowych i współpracującego materaca geosyntetycznego oraz sposób monitorowania zachowania się przyczółków mostowych budowanych w trudnych warunkach geotechnicznych.

The article presents selected issues concerning the strengthening of soft soil with the use of geosynthetics and stone columns, as well as the method of monitoring bridge abutments constructed in difficult geotechnical conditions.

W artykule przedstawiono klasyfikację obecnie stosowanych udarowych metod wzmacniania podłoża, ich wpływ na konstrukcje oraz sposoby oceny zagrożeń przez nie powodowanych.

Currently used technologies of the strengthening the weak subsoil under foundations with strong load make use of the impacts and vibrations. Those methods are unusually efficient but can influence adversely on the neighborhood and pose the risk for the closely situated building structures or infrastructure elements. The article presents the classification of the currently used percussive technologies for the strengthening of the subsoil, their influence on the structures and methods of risk valuation during the work operation.
