W pracy przedstawione zostały wyniki badań grawimetrycznych przeprowadzonych na terenie Wyżyny Krakowsko - Częstochowskiej w strefie przewidywanego kontaktu tektonicznego dwóch różnych kompleksów skalnych. Celem tego zadania było grawimetryczne potwierdzenie teorii, według której strefa ta stanowi kontakt dwóch bloków tektonicznych - małopolskiego i śląskiego. W wyniku interpretacji danych grawimetrycznych powstał model tej części ośrodka skalnego. Model ten został zbudowany w oparciu o proponowaną w teorii budowę geologiczną. Efekt grawitacyjny od tak powstałego modelu odpowiada badanemu rozkładowi siły ciężkości. Można więc sadzić, iż proponowana teoria jest zgodna z rzeczywistą budową geologiczną tej strefy.

This paper presents gravity research results made on Krakowsko - Częstochowska Upland area. This is a place where the Kraków - Lubliniec tectonic zone is located. Gravity measurement was made to confirm the theory that this zone is a contact of two tectonic blocks - Małopolski tectonic block and Śląski tectonic block. This measurement was made along three profiles. Then the Bouguer distributions were calculated. On the basis of this theory the gravity models were made. Gravity effect which was calculated by gravity model was almost the same as the Bouguer distribution. This means that the theory that was analysed, is compatible with reality.

Sudety Mts. and Fore-Sudetie Block constitute NE edge of the Bohemian Massif. Several large tectonic zones including the Sudetic Marginal Fault divide this area. Results or geodetic and seismic investigations show continuing tectonic movements that were at their peak in Neogene. During the 90-ties of 20th century, geodynamic investigations in this region intensified. Studies base on repeated satellite GPS measurements, gravimetric and relative (crack gauge) observations. This work focuses on presenting the conclusions or research carried out within the GEOSUD and GEOSUD II projects and concerns analysis or geometric, as well as, gravity changes on selected geodynamic profiles. Results obtained confirm recent activity or investigated tectonic zones.
