W pracy opisano zmodyfikowaną metodę ciągłej i jednoczesnej rejestracji temperatury i zmian wilgotności masy formierskiej w dowolnej warstwie wilgotnej formy. Stwierdzono, że zarówno szybkość przemieszczania się wilgoci w masie jak i uzyskiwane wilgotności w strefie kondensacji są zmienne w czasie. Charakter zmian zależy od odległości rozpatrywanej warstwy od powierzchni styku metal-forma. Stwierdzono poza tym, że tempo wzrostu masy suchej maleje wraz z upływem czasu oddziaływania metalu na formę.

In the work modified continous method and simultaneously temperature registration is described, as well as dampness changes of mould in any layer of green-sand mould. It has been found that the speed of transferring dampness in a mould and gaining mould dampness in condensation zone are time changeable. The changes depend on a distance of a given layer from the surface of area contact (metal-form). Also, the rate increase of dry mould decreases with the time flow of effecting metal on form.

Przedstawiono wyniki rejestracji zmian ciśnienia pary wodnej i temperatury masy formierskiej w wybranej warstwie wilgotnej formy zalanej ciekłym metalem. W pomiarach zastosowano system elektroniczny umożliwiający jednoczesny zapis przebiegu zmian ciśnienia i temperatury. Otrzymane wyniki badań są nieco odmienne od wyników innych badaczy co do wartości i charakteru jego zmian w czasie. Stwierdzono, że maksymalne wartości ciśnień zależą w większym stopniu od wilgotności początkowej masy niż gęstości pozornej masy.

The results of pressure changes of water vapours and temperature of moulding sand in any layer of green-sand mould poured with liquid metal arc shown. Electronic system was used, and it enabled registration of pressure and temperature changes at the same time. Reasearch results are a little different from others reasearches as to pressure and its changes throughout the time. It is stated that maximum pressure value depends more on green-sand mould dampness than apparent density in experimental mould.

Przedstawiono wyniki rejestracji zmian ciśnienia gazów w obszarze kształtowania się strefy kondensacji w formie piaskowej nagrzewanej jednostronnie ciekłym metalem. Zastosowano komputerowy system umożliwiający jednoczesny zapis zmian ciśnienia i temperatury w czasie.

This part presents the results of recording of changes of the pressure of gases in the area of formation of the condensation zone in a sand mould heated one-sidedly with liquid metal. A computer system which enables simultaneous recording of changes of pressure and temperature in time was used.

Opisano stanowisko do ciągłej rejestracji zmian wilgotności masy w strefie kondensacji. Zastosowano mikroprocesorową rejestrację sygnałów pomiarowych. Przedstawiono przykładowe ilustracje zmian wilgotności masy w warstwach oddalonych od powierzchni czołowej próbki.

Work posts for constant recording of mould moisture changes in condensation zone are described. The microprocessor recorder has been used to register the measure signals. Typical examples (pictures or drawings) of moisture changes in the moulding sands in remote layers of the front of the tested sample are shown.

W pracy opisano system pomiarowy i metodę jednoczesnego zapisu ciśnienia i temperatury w dowolnej warstwie wilgotnej masy formierskiej w czasie zalewania formy ciekłym metalem. Badania wykazały odmienny przebieg krzywej ciśnienia w obszarze strefy kondensacji od przebiegów krzywych prezentowanych we wcześniejszych publikacjach innych autorów.

The measuring system and the method of simultaneous measurement of temperature and pressure in arbitrary layer of green sand mould while it is filled up with liquid metal have been described in the paper. The investigations revealed a dissimilar pressure curve in the condensation zone to curves presented in the previous works.
