Artykuł prezentuje wpływ koncepcji międzynarodowego zaopatrzenia, tzw. Global Sourcing na rozwój i funkcjonowanie przedsiębiorstw. Przedstawia najważniejsze korzyści krótko- i długoterminowe, jakie płyną z omawianej idei po jej implementacji przez przedsiębiorstwo.

This paper presents the influence of Global Sourcing concept on functioning and development of companies. It points at the most important short and long term advantages which derive from the implementation of this supply idea by Polish entrepreneurs. The identified advantages (e.g. reduction of a production cost, improvement of a final product quality, diversification of a supply risk, improvement of a negotiation position with existing suppliers) ensure Global Sourcing a high position in comparison to other supply methods and can greatly encourage other Polish entrepreneurs to purchase on international market from foreign, qualified suppliers.

Niniejsze opracowanie przedstawia zagadnienia związane z wdrażaniem strategii globalnych zakupów. W artykule przedstawiono trzy najważniejsze kroki, które mogą zapewnić powodzenie Global Sourcing, a mianowicie: wybór odpowiedniego kraju, odpowiedniego dostawcy oraz wlaściwego produktu zaopatrzeniowego. Dodatkowo autorzy pokazali gotowe i sprawdzone rozwiązania, które występują w procesie wyboru zagranicznych dostawców.

The hereby elaboration presents questions related to implementation of global sourcing strategy. This article presents three, the most important steps, which can assure success of Global Sourcing, namely: choice of proper country, proper supplier and appropriate supply product. Authors have showed ready and checked solutions, which take a stand in a process of choice of foreign suppliers.

The importance of logistics, when creating it, still does not play a role that can be compared to economic and organizational aspects. Elements of logistics are indirectly determined, by watching for unfailing and quick de-liveries and rational stock management. As a result of observing the functioning of an enterprise, it can be stated that the modern approach to Create the strategy of the enterprise will have to be enlarged through directly in-cluding therein logistics as component; without logistics, the strategy will not acquire, indeed, a status of a real strategy leading to assuring success.
