The second part of the paper is devoted to the operation of the control stage for the turbine low load conditions. This refers to the situation when only two (out of four) control valves are open. The circumferential non-uniformity of flow patterns and rotor blade forces are calculated, discussed and compared with those of the nominal turbine load.
