CPTU tests are typically used to develop profiles of mechanical characteristics of soil containing stress history, deformation, consolidation, water permeability and strenght parameters. In practical engineering, the overconsolidation ratio (OCR) is the most important parameter which governs the behaviour of soil deposits, particularly in heavily overconsolidated clays. The OCR influences the penetration pore pressure and his dissipation characteristic. From dissipation tests is possible to estimation coefficient of consolidation (Ch) and water permeability coefficient (Kh). Heavily overconsolidated clays gives negative pore pressure during penetration. These soils are completely saturated at the same time. Progresses of generated pore pressure in the overconsolidated and heavily overconsolidated clays are different from known in the normally consolidated. Therefore, elaborated of adequate interpretation research of results is very necessary.
