One of main parameters of a device is its functional suitability. In the course of the device operation, the device components change their parameters under influence of environment; this process is called aging. Under such conditions, the problem of evaluating functional suitability of the device emerges that needs to be solved taking into account real processes of its aging.

W pracy omówiono problem zmian funkcjonalności urządzenia ze względu na technologiczne odchylenia parametrów od wartości nominalnych i procesów starzenia.

W oparciu o badania flotacyjne stwierdzono, że ruda miedzi z Lubina przechowywana w stanie rozdrobnionym (< 2 mm) w przymkniętych zbiornikach ulega powolnemu procesowi starzenia, w wyniku którego następuje spadek uzysku miedzi i ołowiu w koncentratach flotacyjnych. Maksymalny uzysk miedzi w koncentracie opisać można równaniem eCu% = 92,31 - 4,87 In t, gdzie t jest czasem przechowywania rudy (w dobach). Jednocześnie zaobserwowano, że selektywność rozdziału Cu i Pb w zasadzie nie ulega zmianie, gdyż uzyski Cu względem Pb nie zmieniają się, a tak zwany wskaźnik Fuerstenaua wynosi F = 59+-1/59+-1.

It was found that the copper ore from Lubin stored in a covered tank undergoes aging processes. As a result, there is a drop in recovery of copper and lead in the flotation concentrate.
