Tekst prezentuje wyniki wyprzedzających badań archeologiczno-architektonicznych przeprowadzonych w 2015 roku przez zespół pod kierunkiem dr. inż. arch. Piotra Kmiecika i dr. Roberta Szweda. Obszar opracowania znajdował się w najstarszej XIII-wiecznej części Wrocławia oraz obejmował budynek w znacznym stopniu zniszczony podczas działań wojennych w 1945 roku. Pozostałości kamienicy zostały rozebrane najprawdopodobniej w pierwszych latach po wojnie. Późniejsze przesunięcie linii zabudowy północnej pierzei ul. Oławskiej spowodowało brak możliwości przebadania obszaru między pierwotną a aktualną linią zabudowy w ramach prowadzonych prac, ukazując jednocześnie proces przekształceń urbanistycznych, jakim podlegał ten obszar w historii.

The paper aims to present the results of anticipatory archaeological and architectural research carried out in 2015, led by Dr. Eng. arch. Piotr Kmiecik and Dr Robert Szwed. The study area was located in the oldest 13th-century part of the city of Wrocław and included a building largely destroyed during the warfare in 1945. The remains of the building were most probably demolished in the first years after the war. The later shift of the building line of the northern frontage of Oławska Street resulted in the impossibility of examining the area between the original and the present building line within the framework of the carried out works, showing at the same time the process of urban transformations that this area was subjected to in the course of history.

Wniosek Burmistrza Trzebiatowa w sprawie uznania zespołu staromiejskiego w Trzebiatowie za Pomnik Historii został przekazany Ministrowi Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego w kwietniu 2011 r. Do tej pory nie nastąpiło rozstrzygnięcie w tej sprawie. Trzebiatów to miasto położone w powiecie gryfickim, w województwie zachodniopomorskim. Podstawą do złożenia wniosku o przyznanie tytułu Pomnika Historii były: • Zachowany średniowieczny układ urbanistyczny zespołu staromiejskiego z czytelnym podziałem katastralnym; • Zachowana historyczna zabudowa w obrębie murów obronnych, • Wpis terenu Starego Miasta do rejestru zabytków; • 40 obiektów w granicach Starego Miasta wpisano do rejestru; • Na terenie Starego Miasta obowiązuje miejscowy plan zagospodarowania przestrzennego w formie planu rewaloryzacji, uchwalony przez Radę Miasta Trzebiatowa w 1996 r. Przywołano procedury uznania i kryteria wyboru Pomnika Historii. Przedstawiono zarys historii miasta oraz działania konserwatorskie i planistyczne, wskazując przy tym jego wartości materialne i niematerialne. W konkluzji wyrażono przekonanie, że wymienione wartości spełniają kryteria wyboru postawione przez MKiDN.

The Mayor of Trzebiatów's application to recognize the Old Town Complex in Trzebiatów as a Monument to History was submitted to the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in April 2011. Trzebiatów is a town located in the poviat (district) of Gryfice, in the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship. The basis for submitting the application for the title of the Monument of History was the following: - Preserved medieval urban layout of the Old Town complex with a clear cadastral division; - Preserved historical buildings within the defensive walls, - Entry of the Old Town area into the register of historical monuments; - 40 objects within the Old Town boundaries are entered into the historical monuments register; - In the Old Town there is a local spatial development plan in the form of a revaluation plan, adopted by the Trzebiatów City Council in 1996. The outline of the city's history as well as conservation and planning activities are presented, indicating at the same time its material and non-material values. The conclusion expressed the conviction that these values meet the selection criteria set by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

Kożuchów jest miastem wyjątkowym, nie tylko w skali województwa lubuskiego ale w skali kraju. Zachowany w bardzo dobrym stanie system obronny, składający się z dwóch pierścieni kurtyn oraz fosy, wyróżnia je spośród setek innych. Należy jednocześnie do najstarszych miast Środkowego Nadodrza. Zachowane prawie na całym obwodzie fortyfi kacje uniemożliwiły scalenie się centrum z przedmieściami. Dzięki temu zachowało się pierwotne rozplanowanie tej części miasta i jego historyczny charakter. Te walory są jednak dużym wyzwaniem dla urbanistów i architektów w pracach planistyczno-urbanistycznych. Samo stare miasto stało się miejscem węzłowym w układzie przestrzennym ożuchowa. Ponadto, w nim samym, jest wiele dodatkowych węzłowych miejsc. Są to budowle mające znaczące wartości kulturowe: zamek, ratusz, gotycki kościół, zabudowa mieszkalna. Jest to również system fortyfi kacyjny z dobrze zachowanymi kurtynami, basztami, bastejami i fosą. Historyczny układ ulic nie ułatwia komunikacji pieszej i samochodowej na Starówce. Tereny zielone kryją ogromny potencjał. Niestety jest też dużo elementów degradujących miasto: budynki gospodarcze, zaniedbane podwórka, współczesna zabudowa tzw. bloki, pawilony handlowe, niezabudowane działki i kwartały. W opracowaniu przedstawiono próbę analizy problemów oraz propozycje zmian aby zachowany został wyjątkowy charakter tego miasta a jednocześnie powstała wartość dodana wynikająca z wprowadzenia propozycji nowych rozwiązań architektonicznych i urbanistycznych.

Kożuchów is a unique town, not only in the Lubusz Voivodship but also in the whole country. The well-preserved defence system, consisting of two rings of curtains and a moat, distinguishes this town from hundreds of others. It is also one of the oldest towns in the Middle Oder Region. Nearly the entire circumference of the fortifi cations has been prevented, which makes it impossible to merge the centre with the suburbs. For this reason, the original layout of this part of the town and its historical character have been preserved. However, these factors are a big challenge for urbanists and architects in terms of urban-planning. The old town has become a central point in the spatial layout of Kożuchów. Moreover, there are a number of additional important objects such as buildings of signifi cant cultural value: the castle, the town hall, the gothic church and the residential buildings as well as the fortifi cation system with the well-preserved curtains, bastion, fortifi ed towers and moat. The historical layout of the streets makes walking and driving diffi cult in the Old Town. The green areas have enormous potential. Unfortunately, there are also a number of elements spoiling the look of the town: the business buildings, the neglected yard, the modern buildings – so called blocks of fl ats, the commercial pavilions, the undeveloped plots and quarters. The paper presents an attempt to analyse the problems and to provide suggestions for changes so as to preserve the unique character of the town and, at the same time, to add value resulting from the introduction of new architectural and urban-planning ideas.
