The article presents the essence of the concept of standardization of professional vocational qualifications. This concept is increasingly important in relations to removal of restrictions on the labor market in European Union and increased migrations of people from Central and Eastern Europe. The uncertain economic situation both in Europe and in the world will need more and more flexibility and increasing interest in recruiting of seasonal and temporary workers. In the article was also presented the assumptions of the project TEC TONIQ as an example of the development of new tools for assessment formal and non-formal qualifications for seasonal and temporary workers.
