W artykule zaproponowano użycie metody badań nieniszczących wykorzystującej fale elektromagnetyczne o częstotliwościach z zakresu teraherców do inspekcji płyt włóknisto-cementowych. Opisano najczęściej pojawiające się w płytach wady materiałowe. Przeprowadzono pomiary płyt wadliwych i pełnowartościowych z zastosowaniem urządzenia wykorzystującego metodę terahercową. Wstępne badania potwierdziły przydatność zaproponowanej metody do badań płyt włóknisto-cementowych.

The article proposes the use of NDT method utilizing electromagnetic waves with frequencies in the terahertz range for the inspection of fiber-cement boards. First, the most frequently appearing material defects in the plates, are presented. The measurements of defective and flawless plates were carried out using the terahertz method and the selected results are presented. The preliminary tests have confirmed the usefulness of the proposed method for testing fiber cement boards.

This paper addresses the work performed on development of the readout circuits for FET-based THz detectors. Ultimately, designed readout system is intended to work within the material identification equipment, which targeted to perform the spectral recognition of samples. At the beginning, the short introduction of the THz detection basics and main applications of the THz spectroscopy are presented. Next, the preceding work on single-channel readout circuit is shortly recalled, with a special emphasis on the last design version featuring selective chopper amplifier. This IC became the basis of the complete readout system addressed in next few sections of this paper. Finally, design of novel integrated circuit is presented, incorporating the multichannel readout circuit dedicated for pixel line.
