Solar water heaters with natural circulation are one of the most popular solar device for domestic or industrial uses. However, their theory and designing methods are still an open problem due to the complicated thermal and flow processes occurring during installation action. In the presented paper the similarity theory of the solar thermosyphon water heater is developed. A group of dimensionlessparameters that determine the performance of the heater are derived. Results of numerical analysis of a thermosyphon solar water heater are worked out as the non-dimensional formulas for heater daily efficiency and water maximum average temperature calculations.
