This paper presents a case study of a carpentry workshop and its social-economic perspective of its business, which is social capital. The aim of this study was to take a realistic view of the selected workshop as an inspiring example to build trust as well as relations based on friendship and equality in a small business. In times of economic hardship, the appeal for cooperation, trust and tradition becomes a value that allows a business not only to survive, but also allows it to develop and grow. This highlights the synergistic values of co-creation and co-responsibility in contrast to relationships based on dependence, distance, hierarchy and authority.
