Wyroby hutnicze są zróżnicowane zarówno pod względem stopnia złożoności, przetworzenia jak i różnicowania pod potrzeby odbiorców. Znaczna liczba segmentów odbiorców, wahania popytu a także cechy samego wyrobu hutniczego to kluczowe czynniki decydujące o nawiązywaniu przez ogniwa łańcucha dostaw relacji sieciowych zwiększających bazę zasobową i zróżnicowanie kompetencji na poszczególnych etapach dodawania wartości. Rozbudowa relacji w łańcuchu dostaw o relacje sieciowe tworzone na poszczególnych etapach łańcucha dostaw to istotny wymiar konfiguracji łańcucha dostaw wyrobów hutniczych. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie kluczowych determinantów konfiguracji takiego złożonego systemu.

Smelting products are diversified both in terms of the degree of the complexity, processing as well as diversifying recipients up to needs. A considerable number of segments of recipients, demand as well as features of smelting production arę crucial determining factors about establishing by bonds the supply chain of network relations increasing the research base and diversifying competence at individual stages of giving the value. Expansion of the relation in the supply chain for network relations created at individual stages of the supply chain it is a significant dimension of the configuration of the supply chain of smelting products. Showing crucial determinants the configuration of such a complex system is a purpose of the article.

Działania logistyczne w sferze dystrybucji ukierunkowane są na dostarczanie wyrobów do klienta finalnego. Tym samym, wymiarem niezawodności tego typu systemu jest logistyczna obsługa klienta. Celem badań zaprezentowanych w artykule była identyfikacja determinantów niezawodności systemu dystrybucji wyrobów hutniczych. System dystrybucji złożony ze współpracujących przedsiębiorstw produkcyjnych i dystrybucyjnych (w tym centrów serwisowych, hurtowni, przedsiębiorstw logistycznych, detalistów, agentów) potraktowano, jako system metalogistyczny. W związku z postawionym celem artykułu w części badań literaturowych skoncentrowano uwagę na określeniu specyfiki metasystemu logistycznego dystrybucji i interpretacji niezawodności takiego systemu. W części badań empirycznych zaprezentowano wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w dwóch wybranych ogniwach kanałów dystrybucji wyrobów hutniczych. W ogniwach tych przeprowadzono pomiar zakłóceń w przepływach materiałowych. Zaprezentowana koncepcja badań jest ukierunkowana na rozszerzenie klasycznych kryteriów wyboru dystrybutora wyrobów hutniczych, z którym przedsiębiorstwo produkcyjne kształtuje długookresowe relacje.

Logistic action in the sphere of distribution is directed at providing the final customer with products. The logistic customer service is a dimension of the reliability of the system of this type. With purpose of research presented in the article there was an identification of determinants of the reliability of the distribution system of smelting products. Distribution system compound of cooperating manufacturing companies and distribution (in it of service centres, wholesale company, logistic enterprises, retailers, agents) they treated, as the logistic metasystem. In relation to the put purpose of the article in part of research they fixed their attention on determining the specificity of the logistic metasystem of distribution and interpretation of the reliability of such a system. In part empirical research were presented findings of delivery channels conducted in two chosen links of smelting products. In these links a measurement of disruptions was conducted in material flows. Expressed concept of examinations is directed at the extension of classic criteria for the choice of the distributor of smelting products, with which the manufacturing company is shaping long-term relations.
