W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań z zakresu oceny smarności mieszanin oleju napędowego (ON) z eterem etylo-tert-butylowym (EETB). Badaniu poddano mieszaniny, w których objętościowa zawartość EETB w ON wynosiła od 5 do 40%. Wykazano, że stosowanie 5% dodatku EETB do oleju napędowego nie miało negatywnego wpływu na zmianę smarności takiej mieszaniny. W przypadku pozostałych, badanych paliw obserwowano jednak pogorszenie ich smarności w zakresie 10-20%.

In this paper, the results of lubricity evaluation of diesel fuel and ethyl tert-butyl ether (ETBE) mixtures are presented. Mixtures in which the concentration of ETBE in diesel fuel varied between 5 and 40% (V/V) were tested. It was demonstrated that the addition of 5% (V/V) of ETBE into diesel fuel did not have negative influence on the lubricity of such mixture. However, in the case of other tested fuel compositions, the reduction of their lubricity in the range of 10-20 % was observed.
