In the paper are presented results of the examination provided to determinate the influence of the rake angle, the form of the chips section and the cutting method on the dispersion grade of chips in the cutting of carbon materials. It has been found that in the whole range of angles and the cut layer form the dispersion of chips was greater in non-free cutting. The intensity of that effect is different depending on the method applied and depends on the rake angle and the form of cut area section. As the conclusion it was proposed the new original method of the machining allowance elimination in cutting of carbon materials. It consists in application the special design under cutting and finishing bits in the milling head that eliminate in non-free cutting not more than 15-20 % of the total cut layer and cutting bits that eliminate remnant part of that layer in free cutting condition.
