W pracy przedstawiono zespoły napadowe współczesnych bojowych samolotów wielozadaniowych i bezpilotowych statków powietrznych. Scharakteryzowano stawiane im wymagania, koncepcje rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych oraz tendencje ich rozwoju. Dokonano przeglądu dwuprxeplywowych silników odrzutowych stanowiących napęd podstawowych samolotów wielozadaniowych bodących na wyposaxcniu sił powietrznych różnych państw oraz wybranych silników stosowanych do napędu bezpilotowych statków powietrznych, porównano podstawowe parametrów silników.

Propulsion systems of the modern multirole aircraft were discussed in this work. Concept, requirements, state of the art of such unit were described. What's more, current development trends were presented. Advantages and disadvantages of a single as well as twin engine power plants were considered. The tucbofan engines of primary multirole fighters in service as well as on the development stage were reviewed and described in details, i.e. their structure, engine subsystems, including diagnostic: fault localisation, auxiliary subsystems were presented. Modern manufacturing technology completed general technical and maintenance considerations. The modern exhaust nozzles for thrust vectoring and possibility of their applications in fighters were showed. The basic technical data and performance of these engines released by manufacturers were presented. The selected, representative engine parameters were compared in the form of diagrams.
