In this paper, we present the method for reducing the probability of indefinite looping in single-layer (non-hierarchical) telephone network of Electric Power Utility. The method is based on the detection of the first loop after the reception of two initial signalling messages, which contain the same source and destination addresses. In this case the network node, where the first loop is detected, changes its routing plan. The method can’t eliminate loop appearance completely, and it is not applicable when overlap signalling is used.

W artykule opisano metodą redukcji prawdopodobieństwa wystąpienia pętli warunkowych w jednowarstwowej sieci telefonicznej operatora energetycznego. W metodzie dokonywana jest detekcja pierwsze pętli, o takim samym adresie źródłowym i docelowym, która wystąpi po wykryciu wiadomości inicjalizacyjnych. Następnie następuje zmiana routowania. Metoda nie eliminuje pętli w zupełności.

In this paper we present that Post Dialling Delay in one telephone network depends on the service discipline in particular network nodes. It is indicated that deviation of PDD from its mean value decreases as the number of nodes included in one established connection increases. The consequence of this fact is that the condition of serving 95% of connections is more stringent in the connections with small number of network nodes included in the connection, while the condition dealing with the mean value of PDD is more stringent in the connections with great number of nodes.

W artykule analizowane jest opóźnienie połączenia w sieciach telefonicznych w zależności od liczby węzłów i liczby połączeń.

In this paper we present detector of faulty links in non-hierarchical telephone network with alternate call routing, as, for, example, in telephone networks of Electric Power Utility. The operation principle of the detector is traffic measurement on links. The main detector properties are determined: alarm detection, failure detection credibility and the detection time. The last two of three mentioned properties are inversely proportional.

W artykule opisano detektor błędnych połączeń w bez-hierarchicznych sieciach telefonicznych ze zmiennym routowaniem, na przykładzie sieci telefonicznej Electric Power Utility. Określono główne właściwości detektora, wpływające na czas wykrycia błędu.
