W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia dotyczące wpływu działania sił poziomych w strefach płyt dennych na zagrożenie bezpieczeństwa żelbetowych zbiorników prostokątnych w oczyszczalniach ścieków na przykładzie bioreaktora oraz zbiornika podczyszczalni ścieków. W pierwszym przypadku, w wyniku badań in situ i analizy żelbetowego zbiornika wielokomorowego stwierdzono szereg nieuszczelnionych przecieków w miejscach powstałych rys skurczowych i szczelin dylatacyjnych w ścianach zewnętrznych. Sprawdzenie stateczności na przesunięcie ściany zewnętrznej zbiornika potwierdziło zagrożenie bezpieczeństwa (obliczenia projektowe zawierały błąd). Zalecono wzmocnienie płyty dennej w postaci wieńca wokół zbiornika. Natomiast w zbiorniku w podczyszczalni ścieków stwierdzono zjawisko ścinania w nowo wykonanej ścianie na styku z płytą denną. Awaria miała miejsce latem 2015 r., kiedy zbiornik został poddany znacznym obciążeniom termicznym, a następnie dwukrotnie obciążony wodą podczas próby szczelności.

This paper presents the issues concerning the impact of horizontal forces in the ground slab zones on the safety risk of RC rectangular tanks in sewage treatment plants on the example of a bioreactor and a sewage pre-treatment tank. In the first case, as a result of an in situ testing and analysis of a RC multi-chamber tank, a number of unsealed leaks in the shrinkage cracks and expansion joints were found in the external walls. The horizontal stability verification of the external wall confirmed the threat to safety (design calculations contained an error). It was recommended to reinforce the ground slab by a rim embracing the tank. In the second instance of a tank in the sewage pre-treatment plant, a shear phenomenon in the newly made wallas found at the ground slab joint. The failure took place during the summer of 2015, when the tank was subjected to significant thermal loads, and then charged twice with water during the leaking test.

The aim of this study was to determine the increase in vertical and horizontal forces of the presser foot on the seam during the technological process of sewing knit fabrics. The research was performed on three types of knit fabrics: double jersey (rib one plus one), interlock knit fabric, and bleached interlock knit fabric. In order to meet the criterion of seam quality, it is necessary to adjust the above-mentioned parameters optimally. Depending on the type of the knit fabric, the values of the investigated forces change, and by increasing the number of layers and the sewing speed, the force values increase.

Przedstawiono wyniki analizy obciążeń belek torów suwnicami według zmieniających się norm polskich oraz normy europejskiej i porównano z wynikami badań doświadczalnych. Przeanalizowano problem ukosowania suwnicy, który w polskiej normie uwzględnia się od 1986 r. oraz obecnie według normy PN-EN 1991-3. Wyniki badań nie potwierdziły istnienia zjawiska ukosowania podczas jazdy wzdłuż toru.

In this paper results analysis of load for beams of cranes paths, depending on the Polish standard by one changing and the European standard were presented and they were compared with results of research. A problem of chamfering of the crane is being taken into account in the Polish standard from 1986 and the same issue at present is being brought up in the PN-EN 1991-3. The results of research didn't confirm the existence of the phenomenon of chamfering during the movement along the path.
