The paper describe project of shoulder from the suspension system of rescue autonomous platform. The shoulder is designed as part of the suspension system working in modular system allows easy assembly and removal of the suspension with the wheels. The project as described in the article is a continuation of a scientific thesis titled Project of elements of the mode of halt of the self-propelled platform guided remotely written by one of the authors under the supervision of professor Stanisław Radkowski. Suspension Shoulder is designed in 3D. The article describes the modeled material and determined the weight of the shoulder. Making a simulations of strength under load in computer program SolidWorks and Ansys. In addition, the article presents a proposal for Authors for a modular solution to the problem of rapid assembly and disassembly of the suspension. Taking into account the installation of electrical motors located in the wheel rims autonomous platform. Suspension is a corps designed like the crank of the bicycle, which has the force of gravity to move the whole platform from the load

Purpose: The shoulder girdle is a complex system, comprised by a kinematic chain and stabilizers. Due to the delicate equilibrium and synchronism between mobility and stability, high external loads may compromise its physiology, increasing the risk of injuries. Thus, this study intends to fully characterize the effects of a rugby tackle on the shoulder’s anatomy and physiology. Methods: For the experimental procedures, a matrix of pressure sensors was used, based on the Teckscan® pressure in-soles, force plates, an isokinetic dynamometer and sEMG (surface electromyography). Results: The anterosuperior region of the shoulder girdle confirmed the highest pressure values during impact (100 kPa to 200 kPa). Also, the right and left feet performed a vertical peak force of 1286 N (1.4 BW) and 1998 N (2.21 BW), respectively. The muscular activity of the shoulder muscles decreased after performing multiple tackles. Conclusions: During a tackle, the clavicle, scapula, trapezius and acromioclavicular joint are the anatomical structures with higher risk of injury. Also, the strike force on the feet decreases for stability purposes. After performing multiple impacts the muscular activity of the trapezius and rotator cuff muscles decreases, which may lead, in the long-term, to instability of the shoulder and inefficiency of the scapulohumeral rhythm.

The purpose of this research was to quantify shoulder demands during freestyle manual patient handling (MPH) tasks and determine whether approaches intended to prevent low back injury increased shoulder demands. Twenty females completed 5 MPH tasks found commonly in hospital settings before and after a training session using current workplace MPH guidelines. Most normalized muscle activity indices and ratings of perceived exertion decreased following training at both the low back and shoulders, but were more pronounced at the low back. There was little evidence to suggest that mechanical demands were transferred from the low back to the shoulders following the training session. The study generally supports continued use of the recommended MPH techniques, but indicates that several tasks generate high muscular demands and should be avoided if possible.

The wool harvesting industry employs workers of varying skill levels that differ in both quality and number of harvested fleeces. As it was unknown how skill affected parameters such as joint posture and loading, the current study comparatively examined 140 wool harvesting workers representing 4 skill levels during wool harvesting competitions. Three-dimensional upper limb postures and peak and cumulative shoulder moments were calculated for each worker. Results indicated that elite wool harvesters, in general, used different shoulder postures to perform the harvesting tasks and were thus exposed to different shoulder moments as compared to the lower skill levels. It is plausible that these adopted postures allow the higher class workers to perform their job with higher quality and greater speed as compared to the lower ranked workers. Postural-based training may help improve technique in lower ranked workers and enable these workers to achieve higher ranked status.

The paper presents geometric model of the human body. With the help of markers and angles body might be oriented both in static and kinetic conditions according to acquired reference system. Basic model consists of 17 parts - five for centroid and three for every extremity. Developed model consists of 30 parts. Pelvis was established as a main part of the body orientation. Special attention was paid to description of shoulder's position.

Przeprowadzono ocenę organoleptyczną i fizykochemiczną uzyskanych produktów. Badania potwierdziły uniwersalność pieca konwekcyjno–parowego.

Paper presented results of comparative research into wheat bread baked in chamber furnance and convection–steam furnance as well as shoulder chops baked in tradicional method in electric oven and in convection–steam furnance by specific parameters. Organoleptic and physiochemical assessment got products was made. The results confirmed convection–steam furnance’s universal.
