Artykuł porusza problematykę związaną z zabezpieczaniem wykopów, które to coraz częściej stanowią problemy na budowach w terenie zabudowanym. Wykonanie obiektów w takich warunkach ograniczone jest techniczne i jednocześnie skazane na duże koszty zabezpieczenia wykopów. W artykule przedstawiono różne rozwiązania zabezpieczeń wykopów szerokoprzestrzennych oraz możliwości ich zastosowania.

The present article addresses the issues regarding protection of excavations, which more and more frequently pose problems at the building sites in built-up areas. Assembly manual in such conditions is limited technically and at the same time, protection of the excavation works requires high level of spending. The article presents a variety solutions that may be successfully used for realizing protection of wide excavation sites, along with a set of application options for the aforementioned methods.

Omówiono wyniki pomiarów przemieszczeń i odkształceń ścianek szczelnych stężonych ściągami prętowymi, zaprojektowanych jako zabezpieczenie nasypu kolejowego w rejonie budowanego wiaduktu drogowego. Wyniki pomiarów wskazują na współzależność parcia gruntu i stanu odkształcenia ściany oporowej. Przedstawiając relacje ilościowe, nawiązano do ustaleń normowych oraz wskazań literaturowych. W analizie uwzględniono wpływ wbijania pali na pracę statyczną ścianek szczelnych.

This paper describes the results of displacement and deformation measurements of the restrained sheet-pile walls designed as an earth-retention system for a railway embankment near the new motorway viaduct being under construction. The measurement results indicate interdependence between earth pressure and displacement of the retaining structure. Quantitative rates are presented referring to design codes and selected literature. The influence of pile driving on static behaviour of the sheet-pile wall system is taken into consideration in the final analysis.

On the base of performed computer simulation, based on rotation's method, mathematic model have been formulated. This model concerns drive depth of sheet-pile wall influence on angel of internal friction and the ability to transfer active earth pressure from neighbouring elements.
