Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie ram oceny wiarygodności serwisów WWW oraz wyników takiej oceny dla serwisów polskich publicznych uniwersytetów. Koncepcja, metody badań: Sięgając do definicji terminów związanych z pojęciem wiarygodność odniesiono je do serwisów internetowych. Na tej podstawie stworzono konceptualne ramy oceny wiarygodności dla takich serwisów. Ramy te posłużyły do oceny wiarygodności serwisów WWW publicznych uniwersytetów w Polsce z wykorzystaniem metody sondażowej i oryginalnego narzędzia. Ranking wiarygodności badanych serwisów WWW utworzono wykorzystując metodę TOPSIS. Wyniki i wnioski: W artykule pokazano, że zestaw cech i kryteriów używanych do oceny wiarygodności serwisów internetowych można uporządkować w formie konceptualnych ram obejmujących trzy wymiary: zdolność serwisu do zapewniania wiarygodności, życzliwość projektantów, twórców i administratorów serwisu w zakresie gwarantowania wiarygodności oraz uczciwość właścicieli serwisu. Efektem pracy w tym zakresie było skonstruowanie narzędzia badawczego do dokonywania oceny wiarygodności serwisów internetowych. Z kolei końcowym efektem takiej oceny jest ranking wiarygodności serwisów WWW uniwersytetów działających w Polsce. Zastosowanie praktyczne: Skonstruowanie narzędzie może być wykorzystane do oceny wiarygodności innego rodzaju serwisów internetowych.

The purpose of this article is to present a framework for assessing the credibility of Web sites and the results of such evaluation services for Polish public universities The concept, methods of analysis: Using the definition of terms related to the concept of credibility we referred them to websites. On this basis, we developed a conceptual framework for assessing the reliability of Web services. This framework was used to evaluate the reliability of the websites of public universities in Poland with the use of the method of sounding and original tool. Ranking the credibility of the surveyed websites was created using the method TOPSIS. Results and conclusions: The article shows that the set of characteristics and criteria used to assess the reliability of websites can be arranged in the form of a conceptual framework consisting of three dimensions: the ability of the service to ensure the reliability, kindness designers, developers and administrators of service in guaranteeing the credibility and integrity of the site owners. The result of the work in this area was to construct a research tool to assess the credibility of websites. In turn, the end result of such an assessment is the ranking of the reliability of websites of universities operating in Poland Practical application: The construction of the tool can be used to assess the reliability of different types of websites.
