Transport of goods on the example of a selected section of transport in Poland

The article presents the issue of the transport of goods in relation to sea transport. Sea transport has been known to mankind for a long time. Currently, maritime transport is not limited only to the transport of goods and/or passengers along sea routes, which are carried out between seaports using appropriately adapted means of transport. It is a branch of transport, which consists of a very good knowledge of navigation, highly specialized staff, and a wide range of containers for transporting various types of cargo, often requiring specialized conditions. In addition, sea transport is perfectly combined with intermodal transport, so that in the end, the transport process is the most beneficial for all participants, i.e., the customers, sellers, distributors, and manufacturers. The main purpose of the article was to present the volume of goods transported in this branch of transport. The article, after introducing the issue, presents the classification of sea vessels, refers to the market of maritime transport services and its conditions for further development, and analyzes the overall volume of goods transported in the seaports of Gdańsk and Gdynia against the background of other Polish seaports in the years 2011-2021.

Polish CEP industry has enjoyed steady growth during the past several years. CEP players will have to be more creative and efficient in the way they win and secure that business. The objective of this study is to investigate the factors affecting firm competitiveness in a CEP industry, because competitiveness is considered as a key criterion for assessing the success of companies. The theoretical part of the work contains competitiveness definitions and the description of CEP services market. The research was conducted through surveys, using random sampling method. This study is an attempt to explore the factors that have a high influence on customer’s choice. Strong competition makes courier, if they want to stay in business, they must constantly watch for changes in the business environment and continually analyse consumer needs and preferences in order for them to adjust their offer.

Polska branża przesyłek ekspresowych charakteryzuje się stałym wzrostem w ciągu ostatnich kilku lat. Operatorzy muszą być kreatywni i skuteczni w prowadzeniu walki konkurencyjnej. Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja czynników wpływających na konkurencyjność firmy w branży, ponieważ jest ona uznawana za kluczowe kryterium oceny sukcesu firm. Część teoretyczna pracy zawiera definicje i charakterystykę konkurencyjności oraz opis rynku usług KEP. Część empiryczna powstała na podstawie badań ankietowych. Niniejsze badanie stanowi próbę identyfikacji znaczenia czynników, które mają duży wpływ na wybór klienta. Silna konkurencja sprawia, że firma musi stale obserwować zmiany w otoczeniu biznesowym i nieustannie analizować potrzeby i preferencje klientów, aby dostosować do nich ofertę.

The article deals with the practical aspects of the prices formation of the mechanized services for households. The volumes of production of agricultural products by households in the dynamics were presented in the article. The manners of processing of land and the ratio of their shares were represented. The data used by the authors of the sociological survey were received to identify trends in price changes for mechanized agricultural services. On the basis of the conducted questionnaire survey, the analysis of changes in the price and cost of the main types of mechanized services consumed by households in the process of agricultural activity, the approaches and motives of service providers to the formation of their prices were studied, the reasons for the deviations of actual prices for mechanized services against substantiated. The factors of choice of buyers of agricultural agricultural services were filed. The calculation of prices for agricultural agricultural services according to the complexity of their implementation was carried out. The determinants of the price of production mechanized agricultural services were analyzed. The dynamics of the presence of tractors and combine harvesters in the farms of the rural population of the Lviv region is shown in this study.

Transport jest to rodzaj działalności logistycznej, która odpowiada bezpośrednio za przemieszczanie ładunków między stacjonarnymi elementami sieci logistycznej i systemami logistycznymi, do których należą: zakłady produkcyjne, magazyny, punkty sprzedaży detalicznej. W artykule przedstawiono główne bariery rozwoju przedsiębiorstw transportowych wraz z krótką analizą stosowanych rozwiązań. Zaprezentowano specyfikę prowadzenia działalności transportowej i procesy dostosowania się do rynku decydujące o konkurencyjności mikro- i małych przedsiębiorstw transportowych.

Transport in logistic is the activity directly responsible for the cargo movement between fixed network elements and logistics systems, such as factories, warehouses, retail outlets. The following article is a discussion of the major barriers to the development of transport companies and a brief analysis of the solutions. The paper presents the microenterprises and small enterprises of transporting services especially in international transport of loads and processes deciding about competitiveness of microenterprises and small enterprises.

Seven-year-old interim period for adapting the internal right to the settlement of Bond, what 01 May 2004 countries stopping by on had to the European Union passed w2011 of the year. Well-developed countries of Western Europe being afraid of threats on internal markets, in such fields like e.g. transport market, implemented the number of regulations governing the predicted state. A regulation of the European Parliament was enforced No. 1072 / concerning 2009 of common principles of the access of international cartages, which in spite of implementing significant limitations, was supposed to organize cabotage operations in every Member State. However the protection of self-interests turned out to be stronger than the unity of Community and some of states, peculiarly Germany implemented severe impediments for foreign carriers, forcing them to apply the introduced minimum wage with MiLoG.

Obserwując zmiany zachodzące na rynku, zarówno w sektorze produkcji jak i usług, nie można nie zwrócić uwagi na fakt, iż o konkurencyjności firm decyduje w dużym stopniu poziom informatyzacji przedsiębiorstwa. Na podstawie danych statystycznych prezentowanych przez GUS można zauważyć, że liczba przedsiębiorstw działająca w sektorze usług jest znaczna (rys.1a). W obszarze działalności usługowej, stanowiącej ok. 42%, zakres prowadzenia działalności profesjonalnej, naukowej i technicznej, do której zalicza się sektor IT, stanowi niemal 25% (rys.1b). Rozwój tego obszaru działalności zdecydowanie wpływa na wzrost konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstw, również działających w obszarze logistyki, na rynku międzynarodowym. For several years we have seen significant growth in service sector enterprises. The advantage of this type of activity are lower investment costs compared with the activity in the area of manufacturing companies. Rising prices of raw materials, energy, oil and human labor mean that the manufacturing sector is more capital intensive than the service one. However, despite the fact that in comparison to the area of production of the service sector has a more favorable position, is not subject to any doubt that the evolution of the market and increasing competition have an impact on finding solutions to improve performance and reduce costs for businesses at various organizational levels, including in the area of logistics. In this paper the advantages and possibilities of cloud computing applications to support the management companies of the group of Small and Medium Business were described.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę aktualnego sposobu pozyskania usług systemowych w zakresie mocy czynnej i rezerw operacyjnych. Wskazano na wady obecnych mechanizmów. Zarysowano kierunek przekształceń rynku regulacyjnych usług systemowych w celu lepszego funkcjonowania w otoczeniu innych segmentów rynku (w szczególności Rynku Bilansującego) oraz zwiększenia możliwości konkurencji pomiędzy dostawcami usług. Omówiono problemy decentralizacji rynku usług regulacyjnych.

In this paper, the critical analysis of the current ancillary services market in the field of power balancing were discussed. The drawbacks of current mechanism were pointed. Problems of ancillary services markets development were discussed. Future structure of the market has been proposed for better operation in energy market environment (especially under circumstances of Balancing Market). Competition of ancillary services providers should increase. The problem of the ancillary services market decentralization were discussed.

Od dnia akcesji Polski do UE tj. od 1.05.2004, obywatele polscy zostali w pełni objęci swobodę świadczenia usług (artykuł 49 Traktatu ustanawiającego Wspólnotę Europejską - TWE) oraz zakładania przedsiębiorstw w krajach unijnych zagwarantowane w art. 43 tegoż Traktatu. A to oznacza, że na analogicznych zasadach jak w pozostałych krajach Unii, polskie firmy jaki i obywatele zatrudnieni na zasadzie "samo-zatrudnienia" mogą prowadzić działalność gospodarczą. W praktyce duża część państw "piętnastki" prowadzi protekcjonistyczną politykę w zakresie ochrony rynku usług. W szczególności na rynku niemieckim strona niemiecka zdaje sobie sprawę, że wykonywanie usług ze względu na istniejące bariery jest bardzo ograniczone (a często nawet niemożliwe), ale werbalnie deklaruje otwartość w zakresie wolności ekonomicznej i równocześnie wzmaga kontrole polskich przedsiębiorstw. Strona polska, która nie jest w tym wypadku równorzędnym partnerem, jakkolwiek podnosi sprawę protekcjonistycznego zachowania Niemców, w praktyce godzi się na takie traktowanie i prowadzi działalność na granicy legalności.

There was discussed numerous obstacles encountered by emerging markets to increase service export to UE market. Careful consideration was given to export services to Germany by metal line business. It was stressed that fulfilment by the newcomers rigorous reguirements lead to severe decrement of polish firms' competitiveness on EU market.

W artykule przedstawiono szanse i wyzwania, jakie stoją przed przewoźnikami transportu drogowego po rozszerzeniu Unii Europejskiej. Wskazano, że podstawowym warunkiem funkcjonowania zintegrowanego rynku transportowego jest harmonizacja zasad dostępu do zawodu oraz przepisów regulujących funkcjonowanie przedsiębiorstw transportowych. Podkreślono, że Unia Europejska powinna stymulować proces zmniejszania różnic miedzy krajami „starej” UE a nowymi krajami członkowskimi.
