W artykule przedstawiono badania modelu laboratoryjnego separatora elektrodynamicznego. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na zbadanie wpływu parametrów uzwojenia wzbudnika i częstotliwości zasilania na efekt separacji. Celem badań była weryfikacja modeli matematycznych separatora.

Magnetic fieid parameters and characteristics of an electrodynamic test model separator arę presented in this paper. Special attention is paid to examining the influence of winding parametersand the frequency of power suppły on the effects of separation. The veńfication of the mathe-matical model of the separator is the aim of these investigations. Many technological processes of production of smali elements from non-ferrous metals demand a separation of these of elements from other non-conducting elements, which arę used for cleaning or surface finishing in vibratory drums. Nowadays the following separation methods arę implemented in factońes: the mechanical method, the heavy liquid method and the electromagnetic method. In the electrodynamic separator separating forces arę produced by altemating magnetic fieids. The separating forces change oniy the trajectory of the conducting particles and cause their exhalation from the mixture stream. Ań electrodynamic separator is a specific kind of induction machinę with a free secondary. The set of separated conductive particles is the secon-dary of such machinę.
